The World Bank working together with Livingstone City Council is sponsoring an Architectural Competition where top Architects in Zambia will be drawn to redesign features in Livingstone to add beauty to the city.
The main focus of design will be at the entrance of the city starting from where visitors from other districts are welcomed from. A number of places have been photographed to show before the redesign is done. After the new design is done, the city will be able to compare what the city will look like with the previous pictures.
Livingstone being a tourist capital endeavors to be the most beautiful city in Zambia in order to attract tourists and be the best place to visit in the country.
It is hoped that Livingstone will never be the same after the new design is actualized. Below are the before photos of the areas which will be designed. More photos can be accessed from the media library for those who wish to participate in the competition.
