The construction of Nakatindi Police Post is progressing well reaching over 80% completion.
The project is funded under the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a cost of K987, 663.00. The contractor engaged to undertake the project is Zamtrek Investments and is expected to complete the project within a period of 16 weeks commencing 9th December 2024.
It is anticipated that the opening of the police post will greatly reduce the incidences of crime taking place in Nakatindi ward perpetrated by groups popularly known as junkies and other criminal minds.
Once the Police Post is commissioned, residents of Kashitu, Morelight, INDECO, and Nakatindi compound and surrounding areas are guaranteed of public order and safety to be maintained.
